Rabbits on Saturn – Black Noir Promo Mix

UK export now well known Brisbane based artist Rabbits on Saturn is supporting KLOUD [USA] this Friday at Door 84 for Black Noir.

Hailing from the industrial wasteland of South London, Alex Nott aka "Rabbits on Saturn" has become a rare gem in the underground techno scene.

Heavily influenced by the darker sounds of drum n bass and rave music, he absorbed himself in the expanding dance culture of the late 90's and started mixing music at the age of 16.

After securing a 2 year residency at the infamous 414 club in Brixton, he regularly played at events Puzzle project, Cohesion, Zoology, Smash Techno and Magnetix alongside London's finest Dj's including Chris Liberator and D.A.V.E the Drummer.

In 2016 he promoted a string of parties under the names BNE techno, Escalation and Sonic Twitch at various venues around his hometown, Brisbane.

In addition to this he has landed some iconic guest slots on Darker Wave radio, Fever FM (New Zealand), Electronic Music Australia on 107.5 Metro FM (Gold Coast) and a residency for Soulfinity radio online.

Party goers can experience a chaotic mix of twisted, spacey techno and outrageous on stage antic which is delivered through an articulate mixing style. Life fx looping and vocal performances are also a fresh addition to the set up bringing a unique vibe, tailored to each set.

As a producer, his repertoire, of dark, groove techno has seen remixes, singles and EP releases on Frisson records, la Casa Roja (UK), Psy Cake Recordings, Domino FX, space cake recordings and Sorta Kinda Music.

With so much range on offer, it's impossible to know exactly what to expect from a live performance, but from a raver to a Dj, an audio engineer, mc, breakdancer and producer, you can put your money on creativity and professionalism.
