Protocol Events debuts at Diffuszed Studios
Brisbane local legends Sean Edwards and Don Jauhn are launching a new event series on Friday 12 September 2025, with the first event focusing on progressive electronic music.

Protocol launches with a night of deep, flowing, and melodic grooves — showcasing a wide spectrum of progressive sounds
We’re not about sticking to one genre — each Protocol event will explore a different sound — but for our debut, we’re going all in on progressive.
Four DJs with a total of decades of experience playing the genre out and about are on the line up. Matthew Pricket, Emmet Orbit, Fergus Alexander and Sean Edwards will be bringing the beats.
