Welcome to Down Under Sound

You have discovered the new resource for all things electronic music in Australia.

Built from the ground up as a place for our many and diverse sounds and spanning the far reaches of the continent, Down Under Sound is driven by a Community focus. In time, here you will find Artists who range from starting out in their local scenes, to information about ARIA Award winners and producers with international pedigree. Australian Record Labels will be featured, as will Promoters. You will have the option to check out the latest Shows from around the web too. There is even going to be information about other Publications. If you are looking for Events to attend, have a look at ticket vendors that will be listed.

Down Under Sound will have writers who will be very busy toiling away, creating interesting and engrossing Content. The first features of note will be exclusive Sound Waves Sets from established artists featured on the site, and Southern Sound Sets from budding DJs and producers. You will also find in-depth Interviews with some very promising talent, as well as Release Reviews of records that are newly available, and perhaps some recommended classics too. Not only that, Down Under Sound contributors will be dropping Event Reviews. One day we may even host our own Events!

A lot has been promised and there is a lot to come. Just remember, music is the answer.
