Culture Beat – Mr Vain (Jody 6 Remix)

Brisbane production powerhouse Jody 6 has turned his hand to a classic from the early 1990s, with a techno remix available as a free download from his SoundCloud. Jody is playing in Brisbane this Friday 9 August for Echo Chamber at Bunker Nightclub.

Culture Beat - Mr Vain, was a key tune that got me into electronic dance music. I really loved the synth lead sound and melody, then energetic kick and bass, and the vocal. Overall the tune sounded aggressive yet uplifting to me. I try to incorporate these elements into the original tunes I make today. As I'd loved the tune for so many years, I decided to make a Peak Time Techno version of it.
