Eelke Kleijn bringing his live show Down Under

The Dutch DAYS like NIGHTS label founder is playing events in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney this weekend, on tour for his new album, Connected.

A new creative chapter in Eelke Kleijns journey, Connected sees the celebrated Dutchman explore an indie-electronic approach that further enriches his audial style and rich discography. Combining immersive storytelling in production and lyrical depth, this twelve-track album, marking the fifth of his accomplished career, fuses the various elements of Eelkes musical influence to form a diverse collection of vocal tracks and collaborations, featuring key tracks such as The Way I Feel, Watching Over Me, Another Life, Beg You and Strangers Town, accompanied by hit record Transmission. Paired together with a new live show concept, this album offers an auditory experience that is both expansive and intimate, and a testament to Eelkes abilities and a mainstay DJ and producer.

Kicking off at Geisha Bar in Perth on Friday 3 October, Eelke will be playing a live hardware set, no doubt featuring many of his own productions. Saturday 4 Oct sees him at Melbourne’s Heide Museum of Modern Art for The Soundgarden, with Nick Warren. Jetting in to Brisbane afterward, Eelke will be at La La Land for a late one, thanks to Lemon & Lime. Then it is back down South on Sunday, for another event from The Soundgarden, again with Mr Warren, as well as fine Australian export, Zankee Gulati, at Plaza Hotel Sydney.
