OUTRA emerges at The Brightside Brisbane this Sunday
The new event is a collaboration by Australian brands Stone Seed, Earth Frequency and Love Camp, as well as Hive Bookings. International outfits involved for the launch party include Senso Sounds, Alula Tunes and Kontrast Artists.
With decades of combined experience in the Aussie electronic music events and festivals scene, OUTRA is a newcomer in name only. This brand is an amalgamation of some of our best promoters. The first event brings an international artist to Brisbane (Meanjin), with the support of established local talent.
Transcending boundaries, uniting through sound.
Germany’s Carbon is managed by countryman Oliver Huntemann‘s agency, Kontrast Artists, and has had releases on Oliver’s label Senso Sounds. Other labels he has featured on include Alula, fabric Records and Visceral. Carbon has come to Australia via Oslo, London and Bali, with five dates here in Perth, Tasmania, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Then he will be jetting off to Delhi in India.
Joining Carbon at The Brightside Brisbane this Sunday 10 December will be Paul Abad, APRÓ, Christian Kerr, Jay Berry, Rascal, Ross Kent and Sequënce, with Vibe Joy and Stewsy Hughes at the after party. On lighting will be INVZION, with Lit Media Productions covering the event.
